During an international conference in New York, USA on September 26th, 2015, GlobalConnect met with His Excellency President of Egypt Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. GlobalConnect was overwhelmed by the Egyptian economy growth potential at the time, which led GlobalConnect into targeting Egypt as top jurisdiction to land its first opportunity of investment. Only a little over a year later GlobalConnect landed its very first equity holding with the acquisition of 25% Participating Interest at the Abu Sennan Concession of Egypt Western Desert. Five years down the road now and upon experiencing a series of exceptional overachievements in Abu Sennan, GlobalConnect remains highly confident of the longevity of Egypt current economic growth cycle and continues to put Egypt Oil & Gas opportunities at highest point of its targets’ considerations.
