Finally, gas produced from the ASH field of Abu Sennan Egypt Western Desert has joined production stream to sales points upon completion of pipeline. In addition to the undisputed benefits environmentally of reduction/elimination of gas being flared and commercially with the improvement of overall Abu Sennan reserves and recovery rates, this will result in a 5.45 MMSCFPD boost the Abu Sennan gas production reaching unprecedented record gas production rates of the field. Pipeline was completed within planned budget and time frame thus tying-in the ASH gas to the El-Salmiya facilities. Not only the pipeline enables commercial utilization of existing ASH gas but as well it encourages further drilling in the ASH field as other following wells are being planned.
