Successful Discovery in Bahariya Formation of Well Al Jahraa-6 of Abu Sennan Egypt Western Desert

Development in-fill well Al Jahraa -6 which was spudded-in on July 4^th, 2018 and reached TD of 3,860 m MD in the Kharita formation on August 19^th, 2018 with its primary target of AR-C reservoir and secondary exploratory target in the Bahariya formation, encountered good oil shows in the AR-C, AR-D, AR-E and AR-G in addition to new oil discovery in the deeper Bahariya formation. Bahariya formation was tested to produce 550 BOPD with stable water cut of 22%. As the first found hydrocarbon in Bahariya formation in Abu Sennan, this discovery in opens all new horizons with overall outlook of the entire concession. Well was completed as a Bahariya formation producer allowing possible future of AR-C and AR-D in same well.
