Exploratory well ASX-1X which was spudded-in on March 6th, 2021 by land rig EDC-50 with multiple targets in Abu Roash and Bahariya formations reached TD at 4,272 m after successfully encountering multiple hydrocarbon reservoirs including the primary target at Abu Roash formation. Well was completed as Abu Roash “C” producer. Well will not contribute to Abu Sennan production until finalization of related lease agreement. Rig EDC-50 rig has now been released and rig ECDC-6 will be the one to resume the drilling program, moving to new location of new development well Al Jahraa-13.
